Biography

Hereford FC are delighted to announce the signing of Kieran Coates on loan from Boston United until the end of the season.

Kieran joined Boston United in the summer of 2024 from Chester FC. The right-sided defender has vital experience in the National League North, plus important experience in the league above.

Coates started his career at Stoke City where he progressed through their youth academy to the U21s, in which time he spent half a season on loan at Cork City.

Caddis speaking on his latest addition:

“I’m really pleased to bring Kieran into our group. He will fit in really well with our current squad and recruiting from the level above adds great quality and competition to our current group of players.

“Kieran is a real front-footed full back and very attack-minded. He has featured in the National League North before and really impressed. I am really excited to see Kieran in action and he adds another body to our group for the remainder of the games we have to play.”
