Broseley Ladies 1 – 7 Hereford FC Women Adobe Women’s FA Cup Second Qualifying Round

Hereford FC Women continued their fine run in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup following a resounding 7-1 win at Broseley Ladies in the Second Qualifying Round on Sunday 21 September.

The Bulls were on the front foot from the start and raced into a two-goal lead thanks to Amelia Griffiths and Maisie Evans. Broseley’s goalkeeper then suffered an injury which saw her substituted – we send her all our best wishes – before Sheree Smith made it three just before half time.

The second half started with the Bulls remaining in full control, and further goals from Smith, her second, Mylie Jordan from the penalty spot, and Robyn Mear made it 6-0.

In the closing stages Tianna Chant made it seven for the Bulls before Broseley netted a consolation goal – which was richly deserved – to finish the scoring on the day.

Congratulations once again to our women’s team who now enter the Third Qualifying Round draw later today, just one win away from a place in the First Round proper.
