The hosts took the lead in the 17th minute through Rick Smith following a corner.
They then successfully saw out the rest of the game, reducing the visitors to very few chances.
After the loss, the Bulls dropped to 22nd, whilst the Boro climbed to 16th.
Paul Caddis made four changes to the team that lost to Chorley, with Kyle Howkins, Lawson D’Ath, I-Lani Edwards, and Eno Nto replacing Mitchell Roberts, Keenan Quansah, Sam Osborne, and Andy Williams.
Bernard Morley and Anthony Johnson made six changes to the side that lost to Leamington, with club captain Jordan Hulme returning to the starting lineup.
The game got off to a quiet start with neither side creating anything of note.
That was until the 17th minute, when the home side took the lead after a corner taken by Anthony Dudley found Smith who tapped it home.
On the half-hour mark, another corner caused chaos inside the Hereford box, but this time it was well defended with a number of shots being blocked.
In the 35th minute, D’Ath found some space outside the box and took aim with a shot at goal, but the ball struck Remaye Campbell before being cleared away.
That was the last action of the first half, which meant it was 1-0 going into the break.
Caddis’ side thought they had equalised in the 47th minute when the ball found it’s way into the back of the net following a corner, but it was disallowed for a foul on the keeper.
The second 45 also got off to a slow start until the 56th minute when, D’Ath found Nto in space down the right wing, he then delivered an almost perfect cross into the box which narrowly evaded the head of substitute Andy Williams.
Hereford grew into the game a bit more in the second half with more shots, although none of them troubled Mateusz Hewelt.
Despite that, Radcliffe stayed in control of the game, without looking like scoring a second.
The Boro had a huge chance to go further ahead in the 87th minute when Matt Sargent broke forwards, he then played it across to David Ball who put it wide.
Caddis’ side had their best chance of the game in the final minute when the ball fell to Omari Sterling-James, he struck it well, but Hewelt was equal to it.
That was the final action of the game which meant it finished 1-0.
