Hereford FC Chairman, Chris Ammonds, has again thanked the club’s supporters having seen the 2025/26 Squad Builder total pass the £25,000 mark.
That means the initiative is now almost halfway to securing the £60,000 match funding that the Bulls’ Founding Shareholders have again agreed to contribute alongside supporters.
Ammonds said:
“This is another significant milestone and I’d like to thank every one of the 140 fans who has contributed so far.
“We are now almost halfway to the £60,000 total that would secure the same amount of match from the Founding Shareholders, so every penny donated really does make a huge difference.
“As a club that is determined to be sustainable and live within its means, the Squad Builder initiative is massively important and the more it is embraced by fans, the more the positive impact will be felt in terms of the calibre of the players that our manager, Paul Caddis, is able to bring into the club.
“The 140 fans represent around 5% of our total average attendance last season and it would be a huge boost for our manager if more fans were able to offer him direct support because, as has always been said, money donated through Squad Builder becomes part of the playing budget and cannot be used elsewhere.”
