A dominant victory and solid clean sheet by the Bullettes in the first game as Champions of the Midwest Counties Female Football League Division One!

We opened the scoring early in the first half of the second game after a corner by Amelia Griffiths from the right found Katy Huntbach with a powerful header into the back of the net, leaving the Droitwich Spa goalkeeper with no chance.

Molly Camden then delivered a good cross to the back post to Matilda Harris, but her effort was pushed around the post by the Droitwich Spa goalkeeper for a corner. Amelia Griffiths delivered the corner into a good area, finding its way out to Yssie Pearson on the edge of the box, her shot was just over the bar.

Sheree Smith then raced clear and into the box but her powerful shot was saved by the Droitwich Spa goalkeeper. A short corner between Amelia Griffiths and Alisha Herdman, was eventually crossed towards goal, where the ball almost looped directly into the net but just found its way over the bar.

Droitwich Spa then had an ambitious effort from midway inside Hereford’s half, but too much on the shot sent it sailing over the bar.

Amelia Griffiths took aim from the left side of the box, which whistled over the bar. We then doubled our lead before the break with a brilliant goal courtesy of Amelia Griffiths, who hit a curling effort from the edge of the box, which nestled into the top left-hand corner of the net.

We really then started to up our tempo and further extended our lead with a third goal. A great ball from Sheree Smith found Chelsey Price who advanced one-on-one with the Droitwich Spa goalkeeper before slotting the ball past her and into the back of the net.

Amelia Griffiths then tried her luck from the right hand edge of the box which just went over the bar. Shortly afterwards we grabbed our fourth as a good ball through by Yssie Pearson found Sheree Smith in the box before beating the Droitwich Spa goalkeeper.

Sheree Smith then tried to return the favour to Yssie Pearson but saw her shot saved by the Droitwich Spa goalkeeper. Our fifth goal came from a corner from Sheree Smith was put into a dangerous area finding Katy Huntbach who back heeled the ball across to Chelsey Fulcher who tapped into the back of the net.

We then rounded out the scoring after Sheree Smith showed great pace to beat the Droitwich Spa goalkeeper to the ball before rounding her and putting the ball into the empty net.

It was commanding victory and a solid clean sheet in the second game of the double header by the Bullettes in the first game since being crowned thoroughly deserved Midwest Counties Female Football League Division One Champions. Well done to all involved!
