The Bulls are back at home on Saturday as they host Chester in a big game in the race for the play-offs.

Hereford will be looking to continue their recent good form which has seen them record back-to-back wins with the most recent being a 4-0 victory away to Farsley Celtic.

“I’m really pleased, it was one of those games where everyone expects you to win but it is never that easy,” said Paul Caddis.

Those two wins with seven goals scored ended a poor run of form which had seen the Whites lose three games in a row without scoring.

Hereford go into the game on Saturday in seventh on 69 points, just above King’s Lynn on goal difference who sit just outside the play-offs.

Chester have had a good season so far as they currently occupy fourth on 74 points with 21 wins, 11 draws and nine losses, five above the Bulls and seven behind Scunthorpe in first.

Their most recent game was a 1-1 draw last Saturday at home to fellow play-off hopefuls Curzon Ashton.

That draw made it two without a win after they lost 3-1 away to Scunthorpe the week before.

The two sides met earlier in the season in an emphatic 3-0 win for the Seals in November courtesy of two goals from Charlie Caton and one from Tom Peers.

“It will be a tough game, they’re a really strong outfit that are led by a very good manager,” said Caddis regarding Chester.

Hereford fans will be hoping their side can win a third in a row on Saturday.

The forward can play as a striker or on the wing and scored in the reverse fixture.

Calum McIntyre will be hoping his talisman can cause the Hereford defence some problems again on Saturday.
