Hereford made it seven wins in eight with a 2-0 victory at home to Alfreton Town.
After an uneventful first half, Yusifu Ceesay took the lead just before the hour mark.
Tate Campbell then scored the second in the 81st minute to wrap the game up.
The win kept the Bulls in fifth whilst the Reds dropped to 14th.
Paul Caddis made three changes to the side that beat Warrington with Aaron Skinner, Dylan Mitchell and Alex Babos coming in for Lewis Hudson, Sammy Robinson and Jason Cowley.
Billy Heath made four alterations to the lineup that lost to Spennymoor with Adam Anson, Jed Abbey, Matthew Carson and Luke Matheson replacing Max Hunt, Adam Lund, Liam Waldock and Nathan Newall.
The game got off to a quiet start with neither side creating anything of note until the 16th minute when the ball dropped to Lewis Salmon, he then cut inside and curled an effort just over the bar.
Alfreton grew into the game more around the half-hour mark with a few attempts and corners but nothing that troubled Theo Richardson too much.
The first-half came to a close with no big chances being created meaning it was 0-0 going into the break.
Hereford started the second 45 in a much better fashion with Mitchell and Ceesay getting some early shots off.
Caddis’ side took the lead in the 59th minute when Ceesay drove into the box from out wide, he then took it past two defenders and fired it past Jake Askew from a tight angle.
The Bulls came close to a second nine minutes later when there was a massive scramble inside the six-yard box, several Hereford players took aim from close range but all the efforts were blocked.
Alfreton had their first big chance of the second half in the 73rd minute when Sam Osborne played a nice ball into Abbey who had his effort palmed away by the outstretched Richardson.
The hosts found the second goal in the 81st minute when Babos delivered a free-kick to Tate Campbell at the front post, who headed it past Askew.
Jaiden White had a big chance late on when he found himself one-on-one with Askew but he could not get the ball under control which was claimed by the keeper.
That was the final action of the game meaning it finished 2-0.
