The Manager

Anthony Smith grew up playing youth football in Hereford and Worcester before studying Sports Science and Management, focusing on youth player development.

Returning to the area six years ago, Anthony has gained valuable coaching and management experience across youth levels, alongside achieving FA qualifications.

At Hereford FC U18s, Anthony aims to create a competitive, player-centred environment, supported by a strong coaching team, to provide a structured foundation for players to reach their full potential.

The Coaching Team

Assistant Coach: Archie Harris

A lifelong Hereford fan, Archie has been with the U18s for three seasons and holds an honours degree in Sports Coaching alongside FA qualifications.

Over the past six months, he has worked closely with Anthony and will continue collaborating to plan training sessions and support match days.

Goalkeeper Coach: Gary Gallagher

With six years of experience working with Anthony, Gary has completed an FA qualification in goalkeeper coaching and gained experience at a local academy. He will focus on preparing the team’s goalkeepers for competitive matches.
