The Bulls are back on the road again for a third Saturday in a row as they make the journey to Northamptonshire to take on Brackley.

Hereford will be looking to extend their unbeaten start to the season to six whilst also returning to winning ways after an exciting 3-3 draw at home to Radcliffe on bank holiday Monday.

Paul Caddis’ side were 2-0 down within 15 minutes but fought back to level the score just before half-time. The visitors then took the lead again before Tate Campbell equalised late on to keep the unbeaten streak alive.

“We’re obviously disappointed with the result but we’re fifth in the league, if you’d have offered me that after five games I would’ve snapped your hand off,” said the Hereford manager.

Brackley are also coming off the back of a draw after their contest with Spennymoor ended 2-2.

The result continued what has been a mixed start to the season for the Saints with two wins, two losses and one draw which has left them in 13th.

It is no secret what Brackley’s target is this season, after losing in the play-off final for two years in a row it is clear that Gavin Cowan’s side will be aiming to go one step further and get promoted.

“Brackley’s a really tough place to go, they’re a team that are one of the favourites to go up, and they’ve got a good squad and manager,” said Caddis.

It is sure to be an interesting game in what is possibly Hereford’s biggest test of the season so far

Ones to Watch

Tate Campbell (HEREFORD):

The Birmingham City academy graduate has hit the ground running since arriving in the summer. Campbell has impressed the Edgar Street faithful with his dominating displays in the midfield which went one step further against Radcliffe when he scored the late equaliser and picked up the man of the match award. Caddis will be hoping that his new man in the middle can build on his positive start to life in a Hereford shirt.

Danny Newton (BRACKLEY):

A striker who certainly knows how to find the back of the net, Newton scored 19 goals last campaign which put him third in the run for the National League North golden boot. Before last season, the forward had been plying his trade in the higher divisions with stints in the National League with Solihull Moors and Boreham Wood and four years at Stevenage. Newton has scored two goals this season, with one coming in the last game against Spennymoor and he will be looking to do the same again.
