The points were shared at Edgar Street as Hereford drew 2-2 with Buxton.
The Bucks took the lead just before half-time when Diego De Girolamo tapped home.
Kyle Howkins then scored an own goal in the 70th minute to make it two.
Andy Williams came off the bench to pull one back just six minutes later before grabbing a late equaliser in the 93rd minute.
The result moves Hereford up into 11th whilst Buxton remain in 14th.
Paul Caddis made just one alteration to the side that beat Farsley 4-1 with debutant Lawson D’Ath coming in for Dominic McHale.
Craig Elliott on the other hand made wholesale changes to the team that lost 4-1 at home to Chester with six in total including former Hereford player Adam Livingstone dropping to the bench and Sean Etaluku coming in for his debut.
The away side had a decent chance early on in the fifth minute when Jak McCourt found Jake Wright free inside the box but his header was high and wide.
Hereford had a big opportunity in the 22nd minute when a ball into the box found Phillips, he then set it for Alex Babos who had his shot saved by the feet of Alexander Petrovic from close range.
In the 40th minute, the ball dropped kindly to Tope Obadeyi inside the box following a corner but the winger fired wide.
On the verge of half-time, the visitors took the lead when a ball over the top found Ben Andreucci, he then squared it to De Girolamo who tapped it past Pond meaning that it was 1-0 to Buxton going into the break.
Just three minutes into the second half a long ball over the top dropped to Babos but the Welshman could not get a shot off and the chance disappeared.
In the 70th minute, there was a mistake by Howkins who played it back to Pond but the pass went beyond the keeper and rolled into the back of the net to make it two.
Hereford came close straight after that when Jason Cowley was found free in the box from a corner but his header was too close to Petrovic who made an excellent save.
The Bulls then pulled one back in the 76th minute when a back pass was pounced on by substitute Williams who rounded the keeper and placed it into an empty net.
Buxton had a great opportunity to put the game to bed when a miss-timed header from Howkins put Eoin McKeown through on goal but his attempted chipped shot was comfortably caught by Pond.
In the 93rd minute, Yusifu Ceesay had a shot deflected into the path of Williams who converted for his second of the game to rescue a point for the hosts late on.
