Biography

Starting his youth development at Aston Villa, Sturridge progressed to their under 21s after impressing throughout his academy progression.

In November of 2023, the forward signed for Solihull Moors on a short term deal before a move to Alvechurch later that season.

A successful spell at Lye Meadow, DJ secured a move to National League North side, Banbury United and faced the Bulls in our 1-2 away win at the Plant Hire Community Stadium.

This summer, Sturridge remained in the National League North after being snapped up by Farsley Celtic in July and visited Edgar Street in October last year.

Caddis speaks on his new forward:

“DJ will add pace and quality at the top end of the pitch and someone who can cause opposition defenders a lot of problems.
