The Bulls are back on the road on Tuesday as they travel to the Deva Stadium to take on Chester.

Hereford returned to winning ways in their last game with an emphatic 5-1 win away to Sudbury in the FA Trophy, which ended a run of seven games without a win.

There was no game for the Whites on Saturday after their trip to Scarborough was postponed.

“I’m really pleased, I thought we were excellent, we travelled a long way on the day, so it was a tough place to go, it was disappointing going 1-0 down, but we responded brilliantly,” said Paul Caddis.

After the win in the FA Trophy, Hereford drew fellow National League North side Radcliffe in the next round.

The Bulls’ last win in the league came in early October, a 2-1 away win over Leamington.

Hereford enter the game on Tuesday in 23rd on 16 points, with four wins, four draws and eight losses.

Chester have had mixed fortunes so far this season as they currently sit in 14th on 23 points with five wins, eight draws and four losses.

The Seals are coming off the back of a 2-0 win at home to Leamington last Saturday, which extended their unbeaten run in the league to four.

Calum McIntyre’s side also went on a good run in the FA Cup, which saw them get to the first round proper, where they were knocked out by League Two Cambridge United.

Chester finished in fourth last season on 87 points and could not have come any closer to promotion as they lost in the play-off final to Scunthorpe.

The two sides met twice last season, a 2-2 draw at Edgar Street and a 3-0 win at home for the Seals.

Hereford fans will be hoping to see their side earn all three points on Tuesday.
