The points were shared at the Deva Stadium as Hereford drew 1-1 with Chester.
Aaron Skinner took the lead for the away side with a back-post header in the 59th minute before Connor Woods equalised in the last minute to rescue a point for the hosts.
After the draw, the Bulls climbed to 22nd, whilst the Seals remained in 14th.
Paul Caddis made four changes to the side that beat Sudbury in the FA Trophy, with Matt Preston, Gus Mafuta, Harley Hamilton and Callum McFarlane replacing Michael Parker, Charlie Cooper, Remaye Campbell and Andy Williams.
Calum McIntyre named an unchanged lineup to the one that beat Leamington on Saturday, with Jack Bainbridge captaining the side.
Chester had the first chance of the game in the fourth minute when Patrick Jones forced a good save from Theo Richardson, Dylan Mottley-Henry then put the rebound into the back of the net, but it was ruled out for offside.
The game quietened down after that with neither side creating anything of note until the 17th minute when Mafuta won the ball high up the pitch, he then took aim from the edge of the area, but he slipped as he shot.
McIntyre’s side pushed hard for an opener in the 22nd minute when Bainbridge was found free inside the box, but his header was saved by Richardson, Jack Shorrock then followed up with an effort that was cleared off the line by Aaron Skinner.
After another quiet period, the hosts had another chance in the 35th minute when Bainbridge found Lewis Leigh in a dangerous area, but he sent his effort wide.
In the 39th minute, Omari Sterling-James had an effort saved by the keeper, Harley Hamilton then picked up the loose ball and was brought down, but no penalty was given.
That was the final action of the first half, which meant that it was 0-0 going into the break.
The Bulls started the second 45 on the front foot, but neither side created anything of note in the early stages.
Hereford then took the lead in the 59th minute when Sam Osborne picked out Skinner at the back post, who headed it past George Murray-Jones.
Caddis’ side kept up the pressure a few minutes later, which culminated in Williams flicking a header onto the underside of the bar before it was cleared away.
The Bulls continued to push hard for a second, this time a corner dropped to Kyle Howkins, who sent an effort onto the post, it then bounced into a crowded box and was once again cleared forwards.
In the 70th minute, Fin Roberts hit a dangerous free-kick towards goal, which forced a fantastic diving save out of Richardson.
12 minutes later, the home side had a massive chance when Jones went on a brilliant run into the box, but his effort was sent just over.
Chester found the equaliser late into stoppage time when Woods beat several Hereford defenders before firing the ball into the bottom corner.
That was the final action of the game, which meant that it finished 1-1.
