The Bulls are back in National League North action on Saturday as they travel to Warwickshire to take on Leamington FC.

Hereford will be looking to return to winning ways after being knocked out of the FA Cup on Tuesday night with a 3-0 loss at home to Hemel Hempstead Town in a replay.

“I felt as if we lacked personality today, especially in the last 20 minutes; we looked nervous,” said Paul Caddis.

Prior to Tuesday, the Bulls had been on a six-game unbeaten run, which means they are still four unbeaten in the league after a poor start, which saw them pick up just one win in the first five games.

Hereford’s last league game was a 2-1 win at home to Worksop Town, with goals from Omari Sterling-James and Andy Williams sealing the win.

The last away game was a 1-1 draw at Darlington, and the Bulls have only won one away league game this season.

“We need to pick ourselves back up, we’re angry and devastated, but it is my job to pick everybody back up and try to get a positive result on Saturday at a tough place to go,” stated Caddis.

Hereford enter the game on Saturday in 14th, with 11 points, having won three, drawn two, and lost four.

Leamington have had a mixed start to the season as they currently sit in 13th, level on points with the Bulls, with three wins, two draws, and three losses, having played one less.

The Brakes have struggled recently as they have lost two in a row, including a very disappointing 3-0 loss to Alvechurch in the FA Cup, which was their most recent fixture.

Their most recent league game was abandoned due to a waterlogged pitch whilst they were 4-0 down to AFC Fylde.

The last National League North game they completed was a 2-0 loss away to Spennymoor Town nearly a month ago.

Paul Holleran’s side finished in 16th last season, 16 points above safety and 22 off the play-offs.

The two sides met twice last season, with a 2-1 win at home for Leamington and a 3-0 win for the Bulls at Edgar Street.

Hereford fans will be hoping to see their side put the disappointment of Tuesday night behind them on Saturday.

One to Watch:

Ewan Williams (LEAMINGTON):

The midfielder has started this season in fine form with three goals and an assist from the opening eight league games, the most in the Leamington squad.

Williams was not as prolific last season as he has already matched his goal tally from the last campaign.

The youngster scored the winner in their most recent victory against Southport; no Brakes player has scored since.

Holleran will be hoping Williams can continue his recent form on Saturday.
