Match Report: Hereford FC 4–2 Littleton FC
Zzoomm HFA County Challenge Cup

Hereford FC progressed to the second round of the Zzoomm HFA County Challenge Cup after an entertaining 4–2 win over Littleton FC at The MandM Edgar Street Stadium Edgar Street.

The visitors started strongly and took the lead midway through the first half when Kirk Layton converted from the penalty spot after Sam Biddle was brought down inside the area. Hereford responded well and began to create chances, with George Matravers and Riley Bevan were both denied by Littleton goalkeeper, Toby Wilcox. Their pressure was rewarded before the interval when Jack Tolley levelled from the spot, confidently striking into the top corner after being fouled in the box.

The Bulls carried that momentum into the second half and quickly turned the game around. Riley Bevan put Hereford ahead with a composed finish into the top corner before new signing Harley Hamilton marked his debut with a well-taken goal to make it 3–1. Bevan then added his second of the night with a superb curling effort, completing a fine attacking performance from the home side.

Littleton reduced the deficit late on through a stunning free-kick from Sean Brain, but it proved only a consolation as Hereford saw out the win comfortably to secure their place in the next round.

It was a strong team display from the Bulls, showing character to come from behind and quality in attack to seal victory. Attention now turns back to National League North action, with Curzon Ashton visiting Edgar Street this weekend.
