Hereford returned to winning ways on Saturday with a 2-0 victory at home to Alfreton Town courtesy of an Andy Williams brace, something that they will be looking to build on.
“I thought we passed the ball really well, which we have lacked recently, but the overall performance was brilliant as well,” said Paul Caddis.
Another player who impressed against the Derbyshire side was debutant Michael Parker, who arrived on loan from West Brom during the week.
“Michael was a catalyst for our performance, I thought it was an excellent debut; he’s a big lad, quick, and left-footed, which gives us a balance,” stated Caddis.
The Bulls go into the game on Tuesday in 18th place on six points with two wins and four losses.
Bedford have had a slow start to their first season in the National League North as they have picked up one win, one draw, and four losses, which sees them sitting in 21st on four points.
The Eagles’ only win of the season so far came at home to AFC Telford, beating them 3-1.
Their most recent result was a 1-0 loss away to AFC Fylde, which made it three losses in a row.
Lee Bircham’s side were promoted from the Southern League Premier Division Central by winning the title, and this will be their first season at this level since 2007.
Hereford fans will be hoping to see their side record back-to-back wins for the first time this season.
