Hereford will be looking to return to winning ways after a 4-1 defeat at home to Chorley on Saturday.

“It was pathetic, it was everything the opposite of Tuesday (against Buxton), I’m disappointed,

“We need a reaction on Monday, if we do not get one, then we have issues,” said Paul Caddis.

The Bulls go into the game on Monday in 22nd place on three points after four games.

Radcliffe have also had a poor start to the season, which has seen them win one and lose three, putting them in 18th, level on points with Hereford.

That one win came last Tuesday in a 2-1 victory at home to newly promoted Worksop Town.

Their most recent game was a 2-1 loss away to Leamington, where Bradley Roscoe scored their only goal, and Matthew Sargent was sent off.

The other two losses have come against Buxton and Spennymoor.

Bernard Morley and Anthony Johnson’s side finished 20th last season but stayed up comfortably in the end, finishing 12 points above safety in their first-ever National League North season.

The two sides met twice in the league last season, a 3-3 draw at Edgar Street and a 3-2 win for the Boro at Stainton Park.

Hereford fans will be hoping to see their side win their second away game of the season on Monday.

Gus Mafuta remains sidelined through injury, he has been for a scan, and the club is awaiting the results to find out the severity.

Other than that, Caddis’ squad has a clean bill of health.

Hulme played a big role in Radcliffe’s survival last season, scoring 11 goals, including a brace in the win against Hereford.

Morley and Johnson will be hoping their talisman can cause the Bulls’ defence some problems on Monday.
