Everyone at the club is deeply saddened to have heard this morning that Hereford FC and Hereford United Club Historian, Ron Parrott, has passed away.

Ron’s love for Edgar Street was immense and his passion for both clubs was obvious to everyone.

Bulls Chairman, Chris Ammonds, said:

“This is such sad news. Ron was a true gentleman and spending time talking to him was always a pleasure.

“His passion for Hereford United and then Hereford FC was infectious and inspiring – he is a true club legend for all eras.

“We will ensure we mark Ron’s passing in the most fitting way possible in the coming days and weeks and, in the meantime, our thoughts are with Elaine, all his family and his many, many friends at this very sad time.”
