Hereford FC are delighted to announce the signing of striker Chris Wreh, subject to FA and National League approval.

Son of former Arsenal striker, Christopher Wreh, Chris is a forward with experience in the National League North for the likes of Tamworth and Scunthorpe United.

American-born, Wreh was a vital part in Banbury’s promotion to the National League North in 2022, netting 21 times in 40 games. That impressive season earned him a move to National League side Southend.

From there, he stayed in the National League after a move to Hartlepool United and then Tamworth FC. Wreh played a vital part in Tamworth’s success in the National League North and their survival in the National League.

Caddis speaking on his latest addition:

“Chris is someone I am really pleased to add to our attacking ranks ahead of the upcoming season starting in a few weeks. He played a vital part in helping Tamworth win the National League North a few seasons ago and followed them into the National League, where he made plenty of appearances in that division.

“Chris has shown a desire to come to a football club with a brilliant fan base and not take the highest financial offer, as well as expressing his desire to work with the management staff, having heard good things about the way I manage my players, so that’s also really pleasing.

“Chris Wreh will bring strength and further experience to our group, and I’m really pleased to add him to our growing squad.”
