We’re delighted to announce the signing of defender, Mitchell Roberts.
A part of Birmingham City’s academy, Mitchell has had a number of loan spells to the likes of Harrogate Town, Carlisle United, Oldham Athletic and Solihull Moors, gaining vital experience of the National League system from a young age.
Now 24, Roberts was released by National League side Boston United, where he suffered a number of setbacks throughout the season.
A left-footed and versatile central defender who is comfortable with the ball at his feet, Mitch will be a positive addition to the Bulls back line.
Caddis on his latest addition:
“Mitch comes to us off the back of a season at Boston in the National League. A frustrating season for Mitchell but we have proven before that I can get the best out of players who have suffered mentally and physically through injury setbacks. Mitch is a left-footed versatile defender and comes to us with a real desire to improve.
“He is an athletic player who will add to our back line and comes with attributes we like in our defensive-minded players in both physical and characteristic terms. We are pleased Mitch has chosen to come to a club that will provide him a platform to play in front of a brilliant group of supporters and I think Mitchell will thrive in such atmospheres.”
