Hereford FC are delighted to announce the signing of defender, Keenan Quansah as he departs Southport FC this summer.
Keenan spent the past three seasons at National League North competitors Southport FC, making 45 appearances in his first season and becoming a fan favourite at the Merseyside club.
Starting his career at Accrington Stanley, Quansah played most of his football in the North West of England and joined the Sandgrounders from Stalybridge Celtic FC.
Brother of Liverpool FC star, Jarell Quansah, Keenan will look to make an impact in the squad with his wealth of experience at non-league level and presence at the back.
Paul Caddis speaking about Keenan’s attributes:
“I am pleased to add Keenan to our squad given the attributes he possesses. Standing at 6 ft 3, he is comfortable across the back line and brings experience with him. A physical and athletic player, he’s someone who has a desire to continuously improve, and he brings the ingredients we love at our club.
“It is important we are particular in our recruitment and having players who can adapt to different positions helps with the tools we have available; Keenan ticks all of those boxes.
“Keenan comes from a footballing family and dedicates himself to football and that can only be a positive for us. We welcome Keenan to our squad and look forward to working with him.”
