Hereford will be looking to continue their recent excellent form which has seen them go five games unbeaten with the last one being an emphatic 3-0 win at home to Leamington.

The Whites had chances in the first half against the Brakes but could not find the opener until Matt Preston scored just past the hour mark, the floodgates then opened with goals from Tate Campbell and Jaiden White sealing the win.

“There was a massive crowd that expected a win but that is never the case, but I thought it was an all-round brilliant performance with three goals and a clean sheet,” said Adam Rooney.

Hereford go into the big game on Monday in fifth on 76 points, three above Chorley who sit just outside the play-offs with two games to go.

Kidderminster have had a fantastic season so far, and they currently top the table on 86 points with 26 wins, eight draws, and 10 losses.

This season’s title race is an extremely tight and tense affair with the Harriers and Brackley level on points with 86, Scunthorpe in third on 84 and Chester on 81 who could still mathematically win it.

The side from Worcestershire are on a fantastic run of form which has seen them go 12 games unbeaten with the most recent being a 2-1 away win against Rushall Olympic on Good Friday.

Paul Caddis and Phil Brown’s sides met on Boxing Day in an assertive 3-0 win for Kidderminster with goals from Zak Brown, Tope Obadeyi and Amari Morgan-Smith.

Several players on either side have played for both clubs including Obadeyi, Sammy Robinson and Matt Preston to name a few, which adds to an already feisty rivalry.

Hereford fans will be hoping for another massive result in the push for the play-offs on Easter Bank Holiday Monday.
