We are delighted to announce the signing of striker, Remaye Campbell, on a deal until the end of the season.

24-year-old Campbell joins Hereford FC after leaving Matlock Town earlier this week, having scored 7 goals in 23 appearances for the Gladiators this campaign.

The striker, who is 6ft 1in tall, started his career at Notts County and has since played for Ilkeston Town, Basford United and Kettering Town, from whom he joined Matlock for an undisclosed fee in September 2024.

Campbell enjoyed a particularly prolific spell at Ilkeston, scoring more than 30 goals during his two seasons (2021/22 and 2022/23) at the New Manor Ground.

Speaking about his new addition, Bulls boss, Paul Caddis, said:

“Remaye is a player I identified 18 months ago when he had an outstanding record at Ilkeston Town, and when it became clear he would be leaving Matlock, I wanted to bring him into the football club. He is a striker who has a record of scoring goals and he will also add a physicality to us at the top end of the pitch.

“After losing Ahkeem Rose due to the non-contract status of his deal, we wanted to bring someone in to add to the forward line and, as always, I didn’t want just anyone. I wanted the right type of player and character, and in Remaye I feel we have that.

“I am looking forward to Remaye helping us push on for the remainder of the season.”
