The Bulls are at home again as they host Alfreton Town at Edgar Street on Saturday.

Hereford will be looking to continue their recent excellent form which has seen them win six of the last seven.

The most recent victory was an enthralling 3-2 win at home to Warrington Town on Tuesday night with two goals from Jaiden White and one from Remaye Campbell.

“The performance could have been better, we could have defended better but I really do not care, it is just about winning games at this stage of the season,” said Paul Caddis.

That win was the third in a row since the last defeat against Spennymoor two weeks ago.

Hereford go into the game on Saturday in fifth on 56 points, two inside the play-offs and six behind Chester in first.

Alfreton have had a mixed season so far as they currently sit in 13th on 43 points with 12 wins, seven draws and 12 losses.

Their most recent game was a disappointing 3-1 loss away to Spennymoor on Tuesday night with a consolation goal scored by Lewis Salmon.

That was their second loss in a row with the other one coming against Kidderminster which extended their poor run of form with just two wins in the last 10.

Billy Heath’s side’s last win came two weeks ago in a 2-0 victory away to Scarborough courtesy of goals from Salmon and Adam Anson.

The two sides met earlier in the season in a tightly contested 0-0 draw in Derbyshire.

Hereford fans will be hoping for a first win against Alfreton since 2018.

Salmon arrived at Alfreton back in 2023 after being released by Nottingham Forest where he regularly played for their under-21 side in the Premier League 2.
