Hereford FC is inviting supporters to join us in remembering and celebrating the lives of fans, past players, and anyone connected with Edgar Street who sadly passed away in 2024.

Our Memorial Matchday, taking place this Saturday as we face Warrington, will include a heartfelt minute’s applause ahead of kick-off to remember those no longer with us.

As part of the tribute, messages will be displayed in the matchday programme, on the big screen, and across our website and social media channels. This is a chance for us all to reflect, remember, and celebrate the cherished memories of those we have lost.

Jamie Griffiths, Hereford FC General Manager, said: “Memorial Matchday is a special opportunity for us all to come together as a community and remember those who have been part of the Hereford FC family. It’s important that we celebrate their lives and ensure their connection to Edgar Street is never forgotten.”

To ensure everyone is remembered, we’ve set up an online form where supporters can submit details of their loved ones, including a short message. Photos can also be submitted to be displayed during the day.

If you would like your loved one to be remembered, please complete the online form by 4pm Wednesday to ensure we can include them in this special tribute.

Together, let’s make Memorial Matchday a fitting celebration of their lives and their connection to Edgar Street.

Thank you for your support in making this a meaningful occasion.
