The Bulls are back at home on Saturday as they host Brackley Town.

Hereford returned to winning ways on Tuesday night with a much-needed 1-0 victory away to Peterborough Sports courtesy of a Yusifu Ceesay goal.

The three points ended the unwanted record of five games without a win.

“I’m relieved and really pleased, when you’re going through a bad spell you’ve got to reset and go back to basics, all the credit goes to the players, “said Paul Caddis.

It is a quick turnaround though for the Bulls which is something they will have to get used to with two games a week for the next three weeks.

Hereford go into the game on Saturday in 10th on 41 points, four behind Chorley who occupy the final play-off spot.

Brackley have had a good season so far as they currently occupy fifth place on 49 points with 15 wins, four draws and eight losses, six behind Chester in first.

The Saints are coming off the back of a 4-1 win at home to Spennymoor after their mid-week fixture against Kidderminster was called off.

This was just the latest victory in a great run of form which has seen them lose just once in the last seven games, with five of those being wins.

The two sides met earlier in the season, a 2-1 away win for the Bulls with goals from Alex Babos and Tate Campbell, with Matt Lowe scoring for Brackley.

Hereford fans will be hoping for a first win at Edgar Street in 2025.

Team News

Matt Preston has been sidelined for the past two weeks, but Caddis is hoping he will return to training next week.

Aaron Skinner is back on the grass after a lengthy spell out.

Preston Bitemo remains out long-term due to a stress fracture in his back.
