Hereford fell to a 1-0 defeat at home to Brentwood Town, knocking them out of the FA Trophy.
After an uneventful first half with neither side coming close to scoring the Bulls pushed for an opener in the second 45.
The Blues then took the lead in the 82nd minute through substitute Benas Vaivada which sent them through to the third round.
Paul Caddis made four changes to the side that beat Marine with Mark Derricott, Tate Campbell, Ahkeem Rose and Andy Williams replacing Kyle Howkins, Lawson D’Ath, Yusifu Ceesay and Jason Cowley.
Keith Rowland made three alterations to the team that lost to Sporting Bengal United with Taylor Curran, Lee Noble and Shad Ngandu coming in for Romel Aarons Royal, Connor Witherspoon and Connor Hogan.
The game got off to a quiet start with the first shot on goal coming in the 11th minute for the away side when Jesse Olukulu was played in down the right side of the box, the angle though was a bit too wide and his effort was saved well by Tom Donaghy.
Hereford had their first sight at goal in the 19th minute when a long ball forward was flicked on by Rose to Williams, the striker controlled it well and connected with a volley but it was just wide.
Brentwood’s defence was majorly tested for the first time five minutes later when a cross into their box caused absolute carnage with multiple Hereford shots being blocked before the ball was eventually cleared.
Neither side came close to scoring in the remainder of the first half meaning it was 0-0 going into the break.
Caddis’ side had their first big chance of the game in the 54th minute when Campbell was played in behind by Ryan Bartley inside the box but his close-range effort was saved by Melvin Minter.
After an uneventful twenty minutes, the Bulls started to get on top, dominating possession and pushing hard for an opener but they just could not break the stubborn Brentwood defence down.
In the 82nd minute, the visitors took the lead against the run of play when they broke forward in numbers, the ball was then played across the box from the right wing to substitute Vaivada who converted.
Things went from bad to worse for Hereford three minutes later when Campbell was sent off for a late foul inside the centre circle.
That was the final action of the game meaning it finished 0-1.
