The Bulls return to league action this Saturday as they host King’s Lynn Town in the National League North.
Hereford will be looking for their first home win since the opening day of the season with three draws and a loss in the other four games at Edgar Street in all competitions.
Paul Caddis’ side are coming off the back of a 1-0 win on Tuesday night against Ilkeston Town in an FA Cup replay in what was a very tough battle.
“We had six or seven players in the starting line-up that are only 50/60% fit and we were forced into making four subs,
“Considering all of that I am extremely pleased with the resilience and character we showed and how well we defended throughout,” said Caddis.
King’s Lynn have got off to a similar start to the season as they sit in ninth with the same amount of points as Hereford after picking up four wins, three losses and a draw so far.
The Linnets are without a win or a goal scored in two after losing 2-0 at home to Curzon Ashton last Saturday and drawing 0-0 away to Scarborough in the game before.
Adam Lakeland’s side struggled last season as they battled to stay in the division, in the end finishing 18th, just five points above the relegation zone.
The side from Norfolk have had their fair share of success against the Bulls in recent years with six wins in the nine meetings the two clubs have had, with no wins for Hereford, a record that the Edgar Street faithful will be hoping comes to an end on Saturday.
