The Bulls return to mid-week action on Tuesday night as they host Needham Market.
Hereford will be looking to continue their brilliant start to the season which has seen them go six games unbeaten with three wins and the same number of draws.
The most recent win was a dramatic 1-2 victory away to last season’s play-off finalists Brackley, with a last minute winner from Tate Campbell after Alex Babos took the lead in the 40th minute.
“I’m pleased with the result. I don’t want to be critical, but I know we can play better,” said Paul Caddis.
Needham Market are also coming off the back of a win when they picked up their first three points of the season with a 1-2 victory away to Warrington.
Prior to that, Kevin Horlock’s side had only picked up one point when they drew 1-1 with Radcliffe so it was a much needed win which propelled them up to 21st in the table.
The side from Suffolk were promoted last season after winning the Southern League Premier Division Central title and they will be full of confidence after their first victory on Saturday.
“Every game is a test and I know people will think we dropped points against Peterborough Sports and Radcliffe so that just shows it’s a tough league,
“They’ll come and make it difficult for us so we can’t take anything for granted, but we are the home side so we’ve got to go out and try and win it,” said Caddis.
The Hereford fans will be hoping that their side can continue their unbeaten start to the season and pick up the first three points at home since the opening day.
Team News
HEREFORD:
Jason Cowley continues to be absent from the squad after picking up an injury in the pre- season friendly against Halesowen Town, but he is progressing well.
“Some good news with Cowley, he’s back on the grass, he’s not actually training with the rest of the squad yet but he’s getting closer,” Caddis revealed.
Kyle Howkins also missed the trip to Brackley after he came off against Radcliffe with an adductor issue and he will still be a doubt for the game against Needham Market.

The attack-minded midfielder scored his first of the season on Saturday when he grabbed the opener in Needham Market’s first win. Allen has lots of experience, having made over 350 appearances at steps 3 and 4. He was also part of the Needham Market side that got promoted last season and he will be looking to continue his goalscoring form on Tuesday night.
