Bulls Chairman, Chris Ammonds, has confirmed that the match funding part of the 2024/25 Squad Builder initiative will be ending at 5pm on Friday 9th August, the night before our opening National League North fixture against South Shields at Edgar Street.
While Hereford FC supporters will still be able to make donations to Squad Builder after this deadline, any contributions made after it will not be match funded by the club’s Founding Shareholders.
This means that fans who are still considering joining the Squad Builder initiative should donate as soon as they can to ensure their contribution is matched by the Founding Shareholders.
Speaking earlier today, Ammonds said:
“The money raised by fans this year has been significantly higher than ever before – just over £45,000 – with more than 220 individuals contributing.
“The money donated has then been match funded by the Founding Shareholders and I’d like to take this opportunity to thank every single person who has played a part in raising this money and helping boost the playing budget for 2024/25.
“There is still time to maximise any donations so I would encourage anyone who is thinking about joining Squad Builder to do so before 5pm on Friday 9th August, to ensure that any donation is matched and therefore doubled.
“Once again, thank you so much to everyone who has supported Squad Builder for the 2024/25 season.”
