Hereford FC is delighted to announce that forward, Yusifu Ceesay has extended his stay at Hereford.
The Bulls wide joined the Bulls in September 2023, scoring his first of many in his first outing against Anstey Nomads. Ceesay started to become a fan favourite grabbing his first league goal the following week against Bishop’s Stortford.
Playing a vital role on the Bulls success last season, Ceesay grabbed a total of 8 goals and 11 assists.
Caddis speaking on Ceesay’s extension:
“Yusifu Ceesay is a man who doesn’t need to be introduced to our supporters. He came in last season and arguably changed our season in a positive way through his pace and power he provided us. I have a really open and honest relationship with all my players and particularly in the past few months dialogue between myself and Ceesay has remained very positive. I think it’s important to reiterate again that Yusifu Ceesay was never offered a contract by us and has therefore never turned any sort of deal down to remain at the club.
Ceesay is a player I admire and I am really pleased we have come to an agreement to sign him for the upcoming season. He will have a huge impact on the pitch and has added another dimension to a really exciting group of players. I’ve got to say I’ve been really grateful Ceesay has been a man of his word and insisted he only wants to play under my management and in front of you supporters if he was to remain in England.”
