Hereford continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 1-3 win away to Southport.
Hudson took the lead for the Bulls in the 23rd minute with the home side equalising through Carver just three minutes later.
Alex Babos and Andy Williams then came off the bench to score the second, third and fourth to secure the three points.
The win moves Hereford up to seventh whilst Southport drop to 13th.
Paul Caddis made three changes to the side that drew to Peterborough Sports with Aaron Skinner, Lawson D’Ath and Preston Bitemo coming in for Matt Preston, Aurio Teixeira and Babos.
Jim Bentley also made three alterations to the team that lost to Spennymoor Town with Jack Stafford, Keenan Quansah and Sonny Hilton replacing Jack Doyle, Nathaniel Knight-Percival and Luke Burgess.
The Bulls came flying out of the blocks in the first minute when Ahkeem Rose forced a good save out of Chris Renshaw with a shot from distance.
Southport came close in the seventh minute when Hilton dispossessed Kyle Howkins which put Marcus Carver through on goal but the striker failed to convert the chance.
The lively start to the game continued when Montel Gibson fired a powerful shot towards goal from the edge of the box that was tipped over by the keeper.
Hereford continued their positive start in the 15th minute when Howkins came close after he was picked out at the back post from a corner but his header missed the target.
In the 23rd minute, Caddis’ side got their reward when Hudson was found at the near post by a Sammy Robinson free kick which he guided past Renshaw to put the Bulls 1-0 up.
The hosts responded well three minutes later when they equalised after Carver got past two defenders and laid the ball off for Danny Lloyd who fired home from 20 yards out.
Lloyd came close to getting a second when he put a dangerous free kick into the box which evaded everyone and narrowly missed the far post.
In the 44th minute, Aaron Chapman was forced into a good save after Lloyd and Hilton combined to put Carver in on goal.
That was the final action of the first half meaning that it was 1-1 going into the break.
Skinner came close in the 53rd minute when Gibson delivered a good ball to the back post which found the fullback but his shot was wide.
The home side had a great chance just past the hour mark when a cross towards the back post found Jordan Keane who volleyed it past Chapman but Hudson was back to clear it off the line.
Hereford took the lead again in the 76th minute when substitute Babos aimed a free kick at the back post which evaded everyone and nestled into the far corner.
In the 89th minute, Ahkeem Rose played a ball across to Babos who took it around the defender and slotted it into the bottom corner to make it three.
Just as the game seemed to be over Williams made it four with a shot from inside the box which went past the keeper.
