The Bulls are back at home this bank holiday Monday as they host newly promoted Radcliffe FC with Paul Caddis’ side looking to build on their unbeaten start to the season.

Hereford returned to winning ways on Saturday with a 1-4 win away to Southport after a disappointing draw on Tuesday night to Peterborough Sports.

Captain Lewis Hudson took the lead for the Bulls before two goals from Alex Babos and one from Andy Williams secured the first three points on the road of the season.

“It was important after the two draws in a row to get the three points which we did and now we’re looking in a healthy position,” said Babos speaking to the media after the Southport game.

Radcliffe are coming off the back of a 1-1 draw at home to Needham Market which was their second point of the season after drawing the opening game against Scarborough Athletic.

The side from Greater Manchester won the Northern Premier League in style last season picking up 87 points which secured them the title by a margin of 10 points.

Caddis’ side will be looking to stretch the unbeaten start to the season to five games whilst Radcliffe will be hoping for their first National League North win of the season.

Ones to Watch

Andy Williams (Hereford):

The Hereford academy graduate has picked up where he left off last season with two goals and an assist in the first four games of the season including the fourth on Saturday away to Southport. Williams certainly knows how to find the back of the net with 11 goals in just 12 starts last season. At the age of 38, the veteran striker is showing no signs of slowing down yet.

Tom Walker (Radcliffe):

The midfielder got off to a great start this season scoring the first goal of the season for Radcliffe also picking up an assist that day. Walker has bags of experience having played at every level down from the Championship. The Bolton academy graduate featured five times for Buxton in the National League North last season on loan from his parent club AFC Fylde. Walker will be hoping he can rediscover his opening day form to help his team out.
