Hereford FC Women are excited to announce the appointment of new coach, Heather Martin ahead of the upcoming season.
Growing up in London, Heather had the opportunity to play for Fulham FC and AFC Wimbledon before going on to University. On her return, Heather spent 5 seasons at Bishops Stortford Ladies before moving to Hereford 3 years ago. She spent the last 3 seasons at Hereford Pegasus, winning the County Cup and promotion before calling time on her playing career due to ongoing injuries.
Heather completed her level 1 coaching while at Fulham FC as a teenager, working voluntarily as a seasonal coach. While at Bishops Stortford, Heather coached the U10 girls as well as the Under 18s and ladies’ sides.
Heather joined Hereford Girls’ Development Centre last year as the Under 16 assistant coach and completed her UEFA C License, which took her coaching to the next level.
Heather speaking about her new role at Hereford FC Women:
“I’m really excited for the new season and can’t wait to get started with this really exciting group of ladies! I hope to use my experience to improve each and every players performance.”
Great to have you on board, Heather!
