Hereford Police travelled to Shrewsbury FC to take part in a football tournament between other police officers across the West Midlands. The team, consisting entirely of current and former police officers, were competing in a tough tournament involving teams from across the West Midlands.

Hereford Police won their group, winning every game. Though they did need a last minute winner from Lee Phillips who produced a bicycle kick in their game against Worcester Police winning goal of the tournament. They exited in the quarter finals to the eventual tournament winners.

Former Hereford FC player Ben Miller contributed 18 goals across the tournament. But there were goals for every member of the squad including Dan Ellis, John Meek, Ben Davidson, George Francis and Jack Davies.
