Following the success of last seasons’ schools season ticket giveaway, we’re delighted to announce that we will once again be giving every school in Herefordshire and the surrounding areas the chance to claim two season tickets completely free of charge.

60 of the 101 local primary and secondary schools successfully applied and received two complimentary season tickets (one adult and one U16) last season, and this season we’re hoping to be able to offer even more local children the chance to attend Edgar Street for free!

These free season tickets can be used throughout the upcoming 2024/25 Vanarama National League North season, providing an opportunity for school pupils and their parent/guardian to enjoy an exciting day out at Edgar Street.

Hereford FC General Manager, Jamie Griffiths said “It’s been great to hear the really positive feedback from families attending the matches, and also from the schools.

“Many of the tickets last season were used by families who had never attended a game at Edgar Street, and it’s been fantastic to hear the comments about how great a time they had, and that many of them have since returned.

“Children are the future of this football club, and it’s been brilliant that we have been able to give so many youngsters and their parent or guardian the chance to watch live football and enjoy a day out together as a family.”

The purpose behind the season tickets is to reward outstanding effort or good attendance, as well as academic, sporting, or non-curricular achievements of students. Each week, the season ticket will be handed to a different pupil, allowing as many children as possible to experience the joy and thrill of attending live football at Edgar Street.

The application must be made by an authorised representative of the school, using a school email address. The deadline to apply is 5pm on Friday 7th June 2024.
