We’re excited to announce the extension of Jason Cowley’s Edgar Street stay for the 2024/2025 season.
A fan favourite and the Bulls top goal scorer last season, Cowley has taken to life in a Bulls shirt brilliantly. With 12 goals in 29 starts for the club including a hat-trick at Edgar Street against Blyth Spartans, Hereford FC manager, Paul Caddis, is delighted to have secured a another core member of the playing group.
Speaking about Cowley’s extension, Caddis said:
“Jason is a player I have huge admiration for and I think that’s shared amongst everyone at the football club. He is the type of player you want in your team and not against you. Cowls’ works tirelessly for his team-mates and it goes without saying he knows how to score goals.
“I know this is a signing that shows intent that we are not just here to take part this season. We are here to try and make a mark in this difficult division and we now have a strike force that can be a real asset to our football club.
“Jason Cowley has had, in truth, some mind blowing financial offers thrown at him and he has always made it clear to me he wants to stay and play in front of proper supporters at a club that is looking to continuously improve.
“Cowls deserves a huge amount of credit for putting his happiness and enjoyment of football ahead of finances.”
