We’re thrilled to announce the extension of Bulls forward, Andy Williams for the 2024-2025 season.

Williams returned to Hereford ahead of last season after a long stint in the football league playing for clubs such as Cheltenham Town, Walsall FC and Swindon. Williams started his career with Hereford United where he would go on to score in the play-off final win over Halifax Town FC.

This season Williams has found the net 10 times in 22 appearances and assisting a further 2.

Caddis speaks on Andy Williams’ contract extension:

“I’m delighted that Andy Williams has agreed to stay for another year. There is no one more frustrated than Andy that he suffered an injury at the start of the season which could not be helped.

“I admire ‘Willo’ for the transition he’s made from being a professional footballer for over 20 years to now coming to terms with full time employment and part-time football. He is the ultimate pro and lives his life in a way that gives him the best opportunity to be the best version of himself on match days. Since his return, Willo has shown exactly why I brought him to the club. He simply scores goals.”

“We look forward to another year with Andy and we hope he can continue his fine goalscoring return since recovering from injury.”
