We are delighted to announce exciting plans for our final National League North game of the season against Boston United at Edgar Street on Saturday 20th April.
The plans will see a variety of special events taking place – including a Fan Zone outside Radford’s Bar – to help fans celebrate what has been an exciting season on the field, and a progressive one off it.
There is also much to play for in the game itself, with the Bulls’ looking to finish the season on a high and the Pilgrims looking to secure their place in the end of season play-offs.
Full details of what will be going on at Edgar Street on the day can be found below.
Pre-Match Fan Zone (outside Radford’s) including:
- 12ft Outside Bar
- Viking Fries
- Loolums Little Make House (Homemade bakes)
- Happy Dumpling 365 (Chinese cuisine)
- Premier Catering Matchday Food
- Junior Bulls Inflatable ‘Shoot for Goal’
- Club Shop
On Field Celebrations
On the pitch on the day, there will be a half-time lap of honour from the Herefordshire PDC, the Community U18s and the Bulls’ HFA County Cup winning women’s team and then, at full-time, the first team will take centre stage.
Firstly, the players would like to do their own lap of appreciation to thank fans for their support during the 2023/24 season before returning to the dressing room.
Once the players have left the pitch, supporters will then be allowed onto the field to watch as the players return for the presentation of the Player of the Season, Goal of the Season and Junior Bulls Player of the Season Awards
Speaking about the plans for the last day of the season, Bulls’ Chairman, Chris Ammonds, said:
“This really has been an enjoyable season and we want the players, staff, supporters and volunteers to be able to celebrate it together.
“I believe this group of players deserve a huge crowd to show how much we all appreciate everything they have done for our club and how they have helped rebuild the bond between the pitch and the terraces and stands.
“We hope the Fan Zone, containing a variety of stands, is a big hit and that fans also enjoy the opportunity to come onto the pitch after the game for the presentation of the three awards.
“I would encourage as many Bulls fans as possible to come to Edgar Street on 20th April, as I genuinely believe we all have awful lot to be proud of and that the progress made in the past 12 months – on and off the field – deserves to be celebrated!”
Advance purchase tickets for the Boston United match will go on sale tomorrow (Friday 12th April).
